Custom Panels

Create your own signal panels with custom cards tailored to your workflow.

Creating a Custom Panel

  1. Go to Settings (click your avatar in the navigation)
  2. Navigate to the Panels tab
  3. Click Create Panel
  4. Add a name and description
  5. Add message cards with:
  6. Label text
  7. Background color
  8. Text color
  9. Card width (1, 2, or 3 columns)
  10. Save your panel

Card Width Options

Cards can span 1, 2, or 3 columns in the Signal Session grid:

Width Use Case
1 column Standard cards, most common choice
2 columns Important signals you want to stand out
3 columns Full-width cards for critical messages

Drag-and-Drop Reordering

In the panel builder, you can drag cards to reorder them:

  1. Click and hold any card
  2. Drag it to the desired position
  3. Release to drop
  4. The new order is saved automatically when you save the panel

Editing Panels

  1. Go to Settings > Panels
  2. Click the edit icon on any panel
  3. Use the panel builder to modify cards
  4. Drag to reorder, click to edit, or add new cards
  5. Save changes

Changes apply to future Signal Sessions using this panel. Existing sessions keep their original configuration.

Deleting Panels

  1. Open the panel
  2. Click Delete Panel
  3. Confirm deletion

Warning

Deleted panels cannot be recovered. Existing Signal Sessions using the panel will continue to work.

Panel Design Tips

  • Keep it simple - 4-8 cards is ideal; more can be overwhelming
  • Use clear labels - Short, action-oriented words work best (one or two words, all caps)
  • Choose distinct colors - Use contrasting colors and consider colorblind-friendly palettes
  • Organize by frequency - Put most-used cards in easy-to-reach positions

Custom Game Panels

Pro subscribers can create custom Game Panels with their own cards for meeting games. Toggle on "Game Panel" in the panel builder to enable scoring and winner announcements. See Game Mode for details.

Quick Custom Messages

Send short custom text messages (up to 120 characters) during a Signal Session. This lets you communicate specific instructions beyond the predefined signal cards.

Contact Groups

Organize your frequent participants into groups for quick invitations.

  • Create named groups (e.g., "Sales Team", "Leadership")
  • Add contacts by email address
  • Quickly invite an entire group when creating a Signal Session

Email Invitations

Send session invitations directly from Meeting Signals. Participants receive an email with the session link and code, ready to join with one click.

One-Click Preset Sessions

Save your favorite session configurations as presets for instant setup:

  • Panel + session name combination
  • Pre-assigned contact group
  • Launch a fully configured Signal Session with a single click
