Professional Development
The Professional Development panel is designed for coaching team members during skill-building sessions — such as presentation dry runs, pitch rehearsals, or training exercises.
Use Case
Use this panel when you want to give real-time coaching signals to someone practicing a presentation or pitch. As the coach, you see their performance and tap signal cards to guide them — without interrupting the flow or speaking over them.
Example scenarios:
- Coaching a colleague before a big client presentation
- Giving a team member feedback during a pitch rehearsal
- Supporting a speaker practicing for a conference talk
Signal Cards
| Card | Emoji | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| CLARIFY | 🔍 | Ask the speaker to clarify or explain further |
| SLOW DOWN | 🐢 | Signal that the pace is too fast |
| MOVE ON | ⏭️ | Signal to move to the next point |
| REPEAT | 🔄 | Ask to repeat the last point |
| POLL | 📊 | Pause to check in with the audience |
How to Use
- Create a Signal Session — Click Create Meeting from the app home
- Select the Professional Development panel from the panel list
- Share the session — Send the session link or code to the person being coached
- Start the session — As the coach, tap signal cards during the rehearsal to give real-time feedback
- Review — Use the session timer to track duration
Tip
For best results, the person being coached should have the Signal Session visible on a separate device — a phone or tablet — so they can glance at signals without breaking their flow.
